HDD Temperature Pro 4.0.1

HDD Temperature Pro 4.0.16<2.3mb>

Monitoring your hard disk temperature is important. Drives that get overheated are probably going to lose data eventually. HDD Temperature uses S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) to detect the temperature of your hard-drive. S.M.A.R.T. is now included in all modern hard disks.

You can set this program to run at Windows startup. This way you can continuously monitor your hard-drives. The current temperature is displayed as an icon, in the Windows system tray. You can configure the program to send your computer into hibernation whenever the drive temperature exceeds a certain value. The default value is 45 degrees Celsius, which I think is ok for most of the hard drives available on the market, considering that my hard-drive usually stays at 30 degrees.

The program will also display the amount of occupied and free space on your drives and partitions.
